Thor: Love and Thunder – Seriously? What the f… was this?
The one and a half stars is for the special effects. They were pretty good. The rest of this movie is really bad. Continue reading Thor: Love and Thunder – Seriously? What the f… was this?

The bottom line, for me, is that overall this was a very good movie. Continue reading Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – This was a good one actually.
I have to say that I quite liked this movie. A bit surprised since it is a new Marvel movie after all. It is even free of woke bull manure which made me even more surprised. Continue reading Morbius – Surprisingly good for being a new Marvel movie.
I really had problems writing this review because it is a very good movie. I just did not like it as a Batman movie. Continue reading The Batman – Good movie…if it hadn’t been a Batman movie.
I cannot help wondering if the writer of this movie was on a LSD trip or something when he wrote it. Continue reading The Suicide Squad – Weird, crazy, outrageous and gory.
Although it was nice to watch a Marvel movie which is not just a rehash of the same old universe and which was reasonably woke-free for once this movie was unfortunately pretty meh. Continue reading Eternals – Neither good nor bad.
Overall I very much enjoyed this movie. It is a simple super hero and fantasy adventure story with lots of action and special effects and with the single purpose of entertaining the audience that doesn’t fall in the trap of trying to “educate” said audience. Continue reading Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings – Surprisingly good.
Well, I have to confess that I found this movie fairly entertaining despite the fact that there have been more than a few stupid decisions made when making it. Continue reading Black Widow: Plenty of stupid choices but fairly entertaining nonetheless.
Wow, this movie was really bad. I quite liked the first movie and I am amazed how the writer(s), apparently with Patty Jenkins, in the lead managed to turn this into a boring piece of crud. Continue reading Wonder Woman 84: Just BAD… and boring.
I have shitload of excuses for not writing something in a while but they are just that…excuses. I’m way behind with just about everything (I blame the Macronavirus in Paris for a lot of that). Continue reading Long time since I wrote anything but here goes…
Far from the greatest X-Men movie but it’s not that bad either. Continue reading Dark Phoenix: Not great but not as bad as I feared.
Despite the less than stellar ratings this movie has received I have to say that I quite liked it actually. Continue reading Hellboy (2019): I quite liked it actually.
I have to say that it was a decent enough movie. I didn’t exactly regret having forked out the money to watch it in the cinema but that’s about it. It’s far from a great movie. Continue reading Spider-Man Far From Home: Decent movie, lousy ending.
My bottom line is that I was greatly entertained by this movie. It had all the good stuff, real super heroes, action, special effects and not too much of the crap that has been spewing out of Marvel the last years. Continue reading Avengers Endgame: Better than I feared.
I have to say that I was a little disappointed. The main reason I felt for this is that the main protagonist is really not someone I could feel like I would root for. He is such a despicable douche-bag. Continue reading Venom: Enjoyable but could have been better.
I have to say that, overall, I had quite a blast watching this movie. It is indeed a good superhero and special effects extravaganza. In addition it is quite beautiful. Continue reading Aquaman: Good superhero and special effects extravaganza.
I did indeed enjoy this movie…somewhat. However I cannot say that I was overly impressed. Continue reading Ant-man and the Wasp: Fairly feeble attempt at super hero comedy.
Everything was so silly and over the top that it actually became funny. Each scene, taken by itself, would probably have been considered silly, or even bad, by me but stringed together in the context of the movie as a whole it just worked. For me at least. Continue reading Deadpool 2: Marvel meets Kill Bill.
This was my type of Super Hero movie. Simple, straightforward plot without much social nonsens and preaching. Little in terms of the all too common whining and sel pitying by the heroes. They are heroes all the way without any nonsensical vendettas or moral bullshit. Continue reading Justice League: My type of Super Hero movie.
On the whole Black Panther is a quite enjoyable special effects and action movie. Nothing more, nothing less. Some social preaching nonsense but less than I feared, hum ho story, lots of action and lots of special effects. Continue reading Black Panther: Overhyped as hell but still pretty okay entertainment.
If the producer/writer intended to make a Spider Man movie for kids, and I mean kids, not young adults but kids, then this movie is hitting the spot. It is an excellent action/adventure movie for kids. Unfortunately I am not really in that viewer segment and for me this movie was pretty bad. Continue reading Spider Man Homecoming: Spider Man for kids, not my cup of tea.
A typical nonsensical, unintelligent, Hollywood story/script were you are better off putting your brain in idle when watching it. However it makes up for this with cool special effects and, surprisingly, quite enjoyable characters. Anyway, regardless of its faults I did enjoy my 2+ hour spent on this movie. Enough to give it a 4 out of 5 rating. Continue reading Wonder Woman: 2+ hours of good visual entertainment.
The entire movie is dark in spirit with X-Men all but died out and Wolverine and Professor X just waiting to die. The story is rather predictable with no major surprises, little depth and low on logic. A typical Hollywood drama. I know a lot of people seem to like it but I cannot understand why. Continue reading Logan: Allow me to disagree.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice by Zack Snyder on Blu-ray My rating: 👿 Utter Crap! It’s been nearly two years since Superman’s (Henry Cavill) colossal battle with Zod (Michael Shannon) devastated the city of Metropolis. The loss of life and collateral damage left many feeling angry and helpless, including crime-fighting billionaire Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck). Convinced that Superman is now a threat to humanity, … Continue reading Batman v Superman: The crappiest and most disappointing movie in a long time.
