Fortune Furlough – Murderously fun vacation.
Overall a fun read. I really like the trio, their interactions and their adventures. Fortune herself has become more competent in her new role and less slapstick. Trouble Walked In – Very good crime/mystery novel in a science fiction setting.
I found this book quite good. Very good actually. It is not some vanilla science fiction story dressed up as a crime mystery. It is a good old-fashioned crime mystery that happens to transpire in the future and a good one at that. Miss Fortune Mystery books 2 & 3 – Fun reads.

Shattered Truth – Okay read.
This is the second book in the Opus X series and it is a decent continuation from the first one although I felt that I did indeed like the first one a bit more. Maybe because the novelty factor of the story and the characters had worn off a bit. Continue reading Shattered Truth – Okay read.
Lousiana Longshot – This was fun reading.

Obsidian Detective – Interesting Science Fiction / Crime novel.

The Rubber Band – Another good Ner Wolfe book.
It is good, well written crime mystery. One may or may not like Nero Wolfe with his somewhat abrasive character. It is probably not a character for the easily offended woke mob but then the text itself is probably too complicated and difficult for that group of individuals. The Devil’s Eye – Urban fantasy detective story, quite okay.
