Agent J travels in time to MIB’s early years in the 1960s, to stop an alien from assassinating his friend Agent K and changing history.
A quite entertaining comedy. I was worried that this movie wouldn’t please me so much due to the time travel part of the story. Time travel usually don’t go well with me with all the silly paradoxes and inconsistencies that it leads to. This one managed to “survive” though. I guess it helped that it’s a comedy movie where you don’t really take things so seriously anyway.
It was a fun film to watch. The various encounters between the agents and aliens where generally quite funny. Some of them where quite hilarious actually. The bad guy was … interesting and the way Agent J took down the future version of him was perhaps a bit predictable but cool nevertheless.
I do think the “event” that was supposed to explain why Agent K went all grumpy for the rest of his life was a bit simple, even cheap, and not really very convincing though.
As I said at the start, an entertaining comedy enjoyed by most of the family.
