First bunch of films for the year

So the first bunch of films for this year has arrived in the mail from Amazon. Sure we have a lot of watching hours still pending given that we bought the full sets of both Mash and The Addams Family for Christmas presents but you don’t just want to watch TV-series episodes all the time you’re in front of the TV. I’m looking forward to see them all of course but I’m kind of specially interested in the last one, Space Battleship Yamato. It’s a live action movie based on a Japanese cartoon series. I have never seen the cartoon series but images of the rather unique space ship designs float around a little here and there on the web. However, what caught my interest was that, when the film debuted in Japan in 2010 it kicked Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows off the number one spot.
